Historical Note

The song that appears here is the French folk song Auprès de ma Blonde, which is sadly not medieval at all, but from the 17th century. It’s difficult to find folk songs from the middle ages since basically none of them were written down (and while later folk songs may have origins in the middle ages, this can’t be verified due to lack of documentation.) I may one day write up a secular folk song myself to give some ASC characters something to sing, but until then… this nonsense.
